I'm just wary of making statements about the prophecy's fulfillment at this point because, as far as I know--and that's an important qualifier--it hasn't been officially confirmed that the prophecy has been fulfilled. Also, I'm keeping in mind that Moffat is apparently known for playing with semantics, so that it's difficult to predict when a foreshadowing or prophecy has been completed, or how it will be done. Good reasoning, though! I think I'll accept your explanation, at least unless we get information otherwise.
