On 15 August, a number of things set in or relevant to the Doctor Who universe were released or published.
- 1964 - "Guests of Madame Guillotine" was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1970 - Part five of TV Comic story Doctor Who and the Rocks from Venus was first published.
- 1991 - Timewyrm: Exodus was first published by Virgin Books.
- 1996 - Return of the Living Dad and The Shadow of Weng-Chiang were first published by Virgin Books.
- 2008 - IDW graphic novel Agent Provocateur was first published.
