The Rubicon was, according to the Tenth Doctor, a place which an unspecified Caesar (most likely Julius) crossed. A major historical event, he once offered to take Rose Tyler to see it, although she declined, preferring to see Ian Dury and the Blockheads perform in 1979. (TV: Tooth and Claw)
