Arcadia was the name of multiple places in the universe.

According to one account, it was a planet on which a human colony was established in the 26th century. The Seventh Doctor visited Arcadia and found it to be a non-technological paradise which served as a living specimen for a centuries-long experiment. (PROSE: Deceit)

The Sixth Doctor once decided to take Frobisher and Peri to Arcadia. He told of its "rolling fields, glittering still lakes and vast cloudless skies". However, he landed on the Mayflower by mistake. (COMIC: Profits of Doom)

Later, the Eleventh Doctor took Amy Pond to Arcadia. Her comment to the Doctor that he was being exceptionally nice to her by taking her to Arcadia suggested that it was a pleasant place, at least when they visited it. (TV: Vincent and the Doctor)

There was an Arcadia that was known as "the safest place on Gallifrey" before it was attacked by Daleks. (WC:The Last Day) It was the site of a major event in the Last Great Time War. The Tenth Doctor once mentioned that he was present at the Fall of Arcadia during that war, and that he still hadn't gotten over its fall. (TV: Doomsday)

There was an unspecified Arcadia that was the source of diamonds, which were very valuable. Captain John Hart once tried to steal one, but was betrayed by the woman he planned to take it from after her death. (TV: Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang)
