Talk about it here.

Synopsis
The Whispermen approach Clarence DeMarco while in jail, producing the coordinates to Trenzalore which he must give to the 'reptile detective' so they would end up with the Doctor.
Plot
In a jail, Clarence DeMarco barks at whispering inhuman creatures beyond the bar, blaming them as not real and asking them to stop. The Whisper Men vanish, just to appear inside the guardhouse. They say they want the Doctor. Clarence doesn't understand. The Whispermen project Gallyfreyan symbols in the air, then forcibly impress them into his mind, along with their meaning and purpose; the instructions are to bring the message to the reptile detective. Questioned about it, the Whispermen explain they are not human: they are the Intelligence, who knows everything. If Clarence will cooperate, he will be pardoned and he won't be hanged, he will live a good long life, except for troubled sleep. The man cries he wants to be left alone, while the creatures pass by him.

Production errors
- The use of "Whispermen" in the title appears to be a production error in that it contradicts the end credits of The Name of the Doctor as well as the BBC One programme listings for Name, both of which render the name "Whisper Men".
Continuity
- The Whisper Men show the coordinates to Trenzalore in Gallifreyan symbols, which the Paternoster Gang will show to River Song and Clara Oswald. (TV: The Name of the Doctor)
