Clara's gran attended a family Christmas dinner in 2013 with Clara Oswald, her son Dave and Linda. She was despite her old age interested in young men as she cheered up seeing the Doctor naked and asked when they would play Twister.
She had had a husband but who apparently had died. Dave asked her to tell how she had met him but Clara's gran didn't answer. Instead she started to tell another story. (TV: The Time of the Doctor)
