Henrik's was a London department store.
The Doctor's future companion Rose Tyler worked there in the clothing department. Some time before March 2005 it was infiltrated by Autons who hid in its basement, disguised as store front dummies. The Ninth Doctor destroyed Henrik's with an explosive device in order to remove the Auton threat. (TV: Rose)
By Christmas 2006, it had been rebuilt. (TV: The Christmas Invasion, Turn Left)
The following year the store embarked upon a wide-ranging advertising campaign, with promotional material visible in the street and on the sides of taxis. (TV: The Runaway Bride) This advertising was still on view after Sarah Jane encountered the Gorgon. (TV: Eye of the Gorgon)
Behind the scenes
- Henrik's seems to be a fictional counterpart of Harrods.
