Lapsang souchong was a black tea that the Seventh Doctor favoured. Beltempest thought that it smelled like tar, but tried some anyway and enjoyed it. (PROSE: Original Sin) The Second Doctor liked it, comparing it favorably to Assam. (PROSE: Downtime)
