They were created by the Earth government and each was identified by number. Due to their maintenance being expensive, most became visitor attractions, leaving only three snowglobes to be used for scientific research.
Snowglobes included Snowglobe 6 and Snowglobe 7, which was located in Dubai. (PROSE: Snowglobe 7)
