Karen Coltraine was a young female human recruited by the mysterious Headhunter to work for Hulbert Logistics. After the destruction of the organisation, she came to work as an assistant to the Headhunter. (AUDIO: Human Resources)
The Eight Legs hired the Headhunter and Karen to deliver some Metebelis crystals to Yorkshire in 2015. (AUDIO: Worldwide Web) Karen was then sent to work undercover for the Eightfold Truth. (AUDIO: The Eight Truths) After seeing that working for the Headhunter had caused the entire human race to be taken over by the Eight Legs, she began to help the Eighth Doctor work against the Headhunter. When the Doctor had defeated the Eight Legs, he told her to be a good person, and left her on Earth, promising that he would come to check up on her in the future. (AUDIO: Worldwide Web)
