Amalie Govier was the mother of Gabrielle Govier.
After her daughter's disappearance at a wedding in France on 26 March 1919, Roz Forrester and Chris Cwej visited Amalie for the next several months.
On 26 September 1919, Robert Dale visited Amalie, calling himself 'Sergeant Dale'. He was trying to capture Roz Forrester and Chris Cwej, who were investigating the disappearance of Gabrielle. When she tried to warn them away, Dale shot her. He then was transported back to Q'ell by the Recruiter. (PROSE: Toy Soldiers)
