The Guardian Angels were a group encountered by the Fourth Doctor on an unnamed planet. They were often attacked by cannibals. The Doctor helped fix a rail track so they could escape to a paradise outside their city they called Countryside. Unfortunately, the place was a myth and the Guardian Angels' escape was unsuccessful. The Doctor's only consolation that the Angels did not survive to see their dreams dashed. (COMIC: End of the Line)
