The driver of Charles Dickens' private cart was an English man. He drove him to his screening in Cardiff, and back after fleeing the evil Gelth. The Doctor accompanied Dickens, ordered the driver to track the cart of Gabriel Sneed and Gwyneth, who had kidnapped Rose Tyler. The driver was hasty to follow his orders, but Dickens confirmed the order and the chase begun.
