Published in 1966, The Dalek Outer Space Book by Terry Nation and David Whitaker, like the Dalek Annuals that preceded it, was one of the first Doctor Who-related books to feature original stories. As with the first book, a selection of short stories and comics featuring the Daleks were offered, as well as stories featuring Mark Seven and the SSS, characters created for a never-produced Daleks spin-off series.
