On 11 April, a number of things set in or relevant to the Doctor Who universe were released or published.
- 1964 - "The Sea of Death", the first episode of The Keys of Marinus, was first broadcast on BBC tv.
- 1970 - Episode four of The Ambassadors of Death was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1970 - Part two of the TV Comic story Insect was first published.
- 1994 - The CD The Worlds of Doctor Who was first released by Silva Screen.
- 2009 - Planet of the Dead was first broadcast on BBC One. Later, Desert Storm aired on BBC Three.
- 2013 - The Doctor Who Adventure comic story The Planet That Went Backwards was first published.
- 2014 - Moonflesh and The Evil One were first released by Big Finish.
