Another 44th Street from New York City, the one in Brooklyn, appeared in Revolutions of Terror. So this needs to be disambiguated as 44th Street (Manhattan).
Talk about it here.
On a back alley very near to 44th Street in New York City, the first Melody Pond regenerated into "Mels", who would travel to England and befriend her mother and father. (TV: Day of the Moon, Let's Kill Hitler)
Behind the scenes
The street is identified by set decoration alone: a large sign in the background of the shot which announces parking for 44th Street. The establishing shot for the scene shows the Chrysler Building, which is not named but can be seen nearby the Empire State Building in the TV story The Stolen Earth. This puts the scene in Manhattan.
