Frank was a young Tennessean who lived in the New York City Hooverville during the Great Depression.
Profile
He was the oldest of an unknown number of siblings. He had come to New York largely because his father had died and his mother was unable to feed all her children on her own.
He was well regarded by the people who lived in the Hooverville, and a great admirer of its leader, Solomon. His main source of income during the Depression was through low-paying construction jobs offered by Mr. Diagoras. Most of these jobs revolved around the construction of the Empire State Building. On one occasion he, Solomon, the Doctor and Martha were required to go down to sewers and correct a tunnel collapse.
