Cooking

Cooking was the preparation of food by the application of heat for consumption. An individual that did this was known as a cook.

While the Fourth Doctor was visiting Prague, he participated in a cooking contest against Drakos. (PROSE: The Dragons of Prague)

The People's culture consisted of interest groups. One such was the Primitive Cooking Interest Group. (PROSE: Walking to Babylon)

Controlled exposure to the Time Vortex could potentially cook a turkey to perfection, but also risked restoring it to life and causing it to lay eggs. The Eleventh Doctor also mentioned that nothing short of a time machine could cook a turkey properly, which extended to the sonic screwdriver not having an "app" for this function. While Clara Oswald was preparing Christmas turkey for her family, she was forced to use the Doctor's TARDIS to have it ready on time. (TV: The Time of the Doctor)

Clyde Langer once alleged that "real" chips could only be bought from a chippy. He considered oven chips to be "the work of bad cooking goblins." (TV: Sky)
