Ranx was a planet with a warm Mediterranean type climate and a single, small, bright sun shining down through a purple and orange sky. Some of the surface of the planet appeared to be dry; possibly sandy, possibly even a rock type surface. The only evidence of life on Ranx appear to be large clusters of trees with large white growths hanging off the branches and occasional small low lying bushes resembling a kind of orchard or olive grove on Earth.
