The Interfering Nun was a Time Lady who broke with the Gallifreyan tradition of inactivity. She was mentioned by Romana II in a conversation about renegade Time Lords. (PROSE: Shada)
Behind the scenes
- The Interfering Nun is, of course, a joke on the part of author Gareth Roberts: a distaff equivalent of the Meddling Monk.
- In Doom Coalition 3 (audio anthology), River Song, who is part-Time Lord, and is disguised as a nun, is referred to by The Clocksmith as The Interfering Nun. This is consistent with "the Meddling Monk" being a temporary disguise of another Time Lord.
