Medusa was a space station in orbit of Phoenix colony on which about sixteen colonists lived at the time Peri, Erimem and the Fifth Doctor visited it.
Its inhabitants were pulled up in small numbers from the cryogenic stores on the colony below and kept as virtual prisoners in their cabins. It was controlled by Auntie and her robotic assistant Butler from the colony below. (AUDIO: Three's a Crowd)
