Edward Brayshaw (18 October 1933-28 December 1990) appeared in two Doctor Who stories: as Léon Colbert in The Reign of Terror and the War Chief in The War Games.

Brayshaw made his screen debut in 1958, after which he appeared in Danger Man, The Baron, Adam Adamant Lives!, Softly, Softly, The Saint, The Champions, The Avengers, Department S, Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), Moonbase 3, Return of the Saint, The Bill and Bergerac. However, he is best known for playing Harold Meaker on Rentaghost.

Brayshaw died of throat cancer in 1990. The cancer was diagnosed just days before his death, Brayshaw having brushed off the symptoms as being caused by the cold British weather.

The British Film Industry claims he was born on 18 October 1933.
