George A. Cooper (born 7 March 1925[1]) played Cherub in the Doctor Who television story The Smugglers.
He is best known for playing Mr Griffiths in Grange Hill and Geoffrey Fisher in Billy Liar. His other television roles included roles on Danger Man, Softly, Softly, Man in a Suitcase, The Avengers, The Saint, Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), Doomwatch, The New Avengers and All Creatures Great and Small.
