Brother Hubert was the minister of the Franciscan brotherhood of Oxford. When he found Brother Thomas searching his rooms for Roger Bacon's papers on the Elixir of Life, Thomas killed him. His body was ritually disfigured to divert suspicion. (PROSE: Asylum)
