Antonio Salieri was a late 18th century/early 19th century composer.
Salieri made a deal with Mortimus to go back in time to kill Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The Seventh Doctor and a tramp stopped Salieri, and the Doctor took him back to his own time. The Doctor locked him in a mental asylum where he would be forgotten. Salieri died in the Asylum. (PROSE: The Tramp's Story)
