Maria Gonzalez was the wife of Miguel Gonzalez and mother of Gabby and Blanca Gonzalez and their younger brother.
Her parents, Fernanda and Juan, raised a family of fifteen in Mexico while living in a one-room shack.
Her family lived in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. She worked at the family restaurant, the Castillo Mexicano. The Tenth Doctor praised her cooking highly.
