Alan Bush was the father of Melanie Bush. (PROSE: Business Unusual) He was apparently on a cruise when the Sixth Doctor brought Mel back after his trial, in the pocket of cauterised time created by "Stapleton Petherbridge". (AUDIO: The Wrong Doctors)
