Edward VII

Edward VII was the king of the United Kingdom whose reign followed that of his mother Queen Victoria. The Doctor claimed to have met Edward VII in Paris. (TV: Inferno)

According to Jack Harkness, Edward did not see the point of the Torchwood Institute as he did not believe in aliens. Eventually Harkness was able to convince Edward to continue funding the institute when he took him on a trip to Paris. (AUDIO: The Torchwood Archive)
