Het Linc was a posthuman polymath, part of one of the last known posthuman cultures.

He was born in 334961115132 and died in 334961147104, living for over 30,000 years. During his life he was a philosopher, artisan, athlete, critic, navigator, biochemist, sculptor, legislator, chef, encyclopaedist, poet, soldier, antiquarian, counsellor, architect, musician, steersman, mystic, bookbinder, apothecary, curator, negotiator, footman, prophet, actor, farmer, detective, necromancer, chiropodist, smuggler, theologian, prostitute, translator, shepherd, mechanic, god-king, tailor, cinematographer and midwife.

His culture was destroyed by House Mirraflex. After his death, he was resurrected in the City of the Saved. His long life and experiences made him the ideal ambassador to the Great Houses. He was so charismatic that several younger House members wanted to defect to the City. He was eventually recalled and not reappointed as ambassador. He became a successful jeweller after that.
