Alan Ruscoe appeared as a number of characters in the 2005 series of Doctor Who. When working with Paul Kasey he can be recognised as the taller of the two actors.

2009
Ruscoe has also appeared in the Doctor Who audio drama The Veiled Leopard for Big Finish Productions. He later appeared as Ray in Paradise Frost, and Cloris in Annihilation.
He also played a Clown in The Day of the Clown, a serial of The Sarah Jane Adventures.
Other roles
In films, Ruscoe has played Daultay Dofine and Plo Koon in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and the Mangalore Kino in The Fifth Element.
On television, he has also played Baraquel, Sariel and Araquiel in Sky One's Hex season 2. He also played "the Poulterer" in a 2004 television adaptation of A Christmas Carol.
In theatre, he has played Deputy and Snake Preacher in Whistle Down the Wind, Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Show in the English Theatre Frankfurt, and Bob Cratchit in the 2004 touring version of Scrooge. In Germany, he played "Bob" the pizza-boy-eating alien for the T-Online television and poster campaign. Ruscoe has also appeared in three brand new musicals on the London Fringe, both in leading and supporting roles.
