New Roman Empire

The New Roman Empire was a civilization that flourished around the year 12005. Shortly after Rose Tyler became the Ninth Doctor's travelling companion, he took her to 12005 - a year where the New Roman Empire flourished. The Ninth Doctor dismissed 12005 as 'boring' as it wasn't enough into the future so they didn't leave the TARDIS. They eventually landed in the year 5 billion. (TV: The End of the World)
