Blade was an aeroplane pilot at Gatwick Airport in 1966.

His identity was taken over by a Chameleon. The false Blade became the chief pilot of Chameleon Tours and controller of their operations. When the Second Doctor defeated the Chameleons, the false Blade was willing to negotiate to save his people. When the Director attacked him in an attempt to regain control, the false Blade was forced to shoot and kill him. The real Blade was subsequently freed. (TV: The Faceless Ones)
