A Stattenheim remote control was a control disk (TV: The Two Doctors) used by Time Lords to control their TARDISes.
The Rani (TV: The Mark of the Rani) and the Second Doctor (TV: The Two Doctors, AUDIO: The Black Hole) each had a Stattenheim remote control linked to their TARDISes, as did Template:Frontier, who created one to retrieve his. (PROSE: First Frontier) The act of whistling was not technically required, but was useful to focus the mind to "call" the TARDIS to the user's location. (PROSE: Timewyrm: Exodus)
The Second Doctor stored it in the teleport device of the control console which gives dual control of the TARDIS to the other Time Lords. (TV: The Two Doctors)
