Leslie Dwyer (28 August 1906-26 December 1986[1]) played Vorg in the Doctor Who serial Carnival of Monsters.
Dwyer's other television credits included Steptoe and Son, No Hiding Place, Sergeant Cork, Softly, Softly, Dixon of Dock Green, Z-Cars and The Sweeney. However, Dwyer is best known for playing the grumpy Punch and Judy man Mr Partridge in the sitcom Hi-de-Hi! from 1980-86.
