In a parallel universe visited by the Third Doctor, Sir Keith Gold was a British civil servant working for the Ministry of Energy and Resource.

According to Director Stahlman of the Inferno Project, he was killed in a car accident while on his way back to London from Eastchester the day before the Doctor's arrival in his universe. (TV: Inferno)
