Stewart Bevan played Clifford Jones in the Doctor Who television story The Green Death and in the 2004 DVD extra, Global Conspiracy?, 30 years later. He also voiced Inspector Nettles in the Big Finish Iris Wildthyme audio story Midwinter Murders.

Bevan had been dating Katy Manning when he was cast as Jones, the love interest of Manning's character Jo Grant. (DOC: Interview with Stewart Bevan, 2004, accompanying The Green Death DVD)

Bevan reprised his role as Cliff Jones for a special scene created to announce the new Blu-ray rendition of the Season 10 box set.
