Not much is knowning what happened during The Year That Never Was, apart from the fact the Lucy grew tried of the Master and he had been pysically abusing her. When The Master captured [[Martha Jones]], the countdown timer was counting down to the rise of 'New Galifrey' and the Toclafane invasion of the Galaxay. Lucy Saxon was the wife of Harold Saxon. She was the youngest child of Lord Cole.

Rise of the Master
How Lucy met the Master is unknown, and it is most likely she knew who he really was.
She however, did not stop the Master from trying to take over the world. She appeared beside him in the press and in photos. She was also intervied by Vivien Rook. Vivien Rook walked into 10 Downing Street and after pushin pass Tish, she claimed that she was here for an interview with Lucy. His orginally claim was that the human race was going to have it's first contact with alien life, and when President Winter took the speech and the Toclafane appeared, and killed him, Lucy showed no since of panic. Behind the Scenes
- According to the Last of the Time Lords commentary, following the timeline reset, Lucy was sent to prison, presumably for her murder of the Master or her role in the death of Vivien Rook.
- Lucy Saxon spent a year aboard the "Valiant" married to the Master. By this point the Master had wives all over the world and was actively abusing Lucy (Last of the Time Lords episode commentary).
- Lucy shows signs of Stockholm Syndrome.
- Lucy Saxon will be returning for the last two specials, again played by Alexandra Moen.
- Russel T. Davies and Alexandra Moen have both confirmed that Lucy Sxond did not pick up the Master's ring
- When "Harold Saxon" states the governement told Britain nothing about the exsitence of alien life, Lucy can briefly be seen crossing two of her fingers, forming the 'lie' sign
