A saw was a manipulator arm which was used by the Daleks during the Second Dalek War. Such an arm was used by a surgical Dalek who attempted to remove Space Major Jon Bowman's brain. (PROSE: Prisoner of the Daleks)
Behind the scenes
- A CGI model of a Black Dalek with a buzzsaw manipulator arm was made for The Parting of the Ways but the screen resolution makes it hard to distinguish whether they actually appeared onscreen or not.[1]
