The A396 was a road in south-west England which ran through Exmoor National Park.
The A396 began at Dunster, where it branched off the A39. It ran south through Bridgetown in the south-east of Exmoor and then continued on through Bury at the far south-eastern edge of the park.
The A396 appeared on Mary Cooper's map of overflow camps in and around Wales. (TV: The Categories of Life)
