Alongside Chris Akhaten and Nigel Voord-Karabraxos, Michaela Traken was one of the three regular presenters of the TV series Fanwatch, devoted to the observation of the appearance and behaviours of Doctor Who fans in much the same way as one might observe the life and habits of birds.
She was a young woman with short brown hair and a self-confident demeanour, being especially knowledgeable on the subject of "bewildered best friends" who were dragged to conventions by well-meaning fans and spent their time there in a constant state of bewilderment, talking about the character of "Doctor Who" and acting as though Peter Cushing existed.
