Peter Salmon (born 15 May 1956[1]) was Controller of BBC One from 1997 to 2000. In 1999, he attempted to resurrect Doctor Who with Russell T Davies, but was prevented by rights issues.
He is married to actress Sarah Lancashire.[1]
