Team was a term the Doctor used to refer to their companions when working with them. It could also refer to sporting group, like football teams. (TV: The Lodger)
The Tenth Doctor briefly considered using the term to collectively address Rose Tyler and Mickey Smith only to quickly decide against it, claiming to hate people who said team. (TV: School Reunion) However, he later remarked his grouping of himself, Martha Jones and Donna Noble was "the new team". (TV: The Poison Sky) The Thirteenth Doctor used the term to call her group of companions, Ryan Sinclair, Yasmin Khan and Graham O'Brien as "Team TARDIS". (TV: Arachnids in the UK)
Mr. Crane remarked he and John Lumic had been "quite the team" when working together to create Cybermen on an alternate Earth. (TV: The Age of Steel)
Danny Pink referred to the Coal Hill Year 8 Gifted and Talented Group as a team, much to their annoyance. (TV: In the Forest of the Night)
