History's Finest was a short story published in September 2020 in Doctor Who The Official Annual 2021. It was narrated by Graham O'Brien.
Summary
Graham O'Brien looks back on the "cracking people from Earth's history" that he has met in the flesh thanks to the Doctor and investigates what happened to each of them after their encounter with the time-travellers in the blue box.

- Ada Lovelace died in 1852 after "many years of ill health" and Mary Shelley in 1851.
- Nikola Tesla met the Doctor in 1903 and died forty years later, in 1943.

- This story mistakenly refers to the "Fugitive" Doctor's TARDIS as "Ruth's TARDIS", although Ruth Clayton was that Doctor's Chameleon Arched self who never actually used that TARDIS.
