During the Blitz, Bermondsey was heavily hit and was still being rebuilt in the 1960s. Heinrich Schumann conducted his matter transmission experiments in an abandoned factory in Bermondsey. (AUDIO: Threshold)
The Dusk Casino was located on the banks of the Thames in Bermondsey. The Sixth Doctor visited the casino in November 2001. (AUDIO: Project: Twilight)
Bermondsey was seen on a map of London used during the Monk invasion of the late 2010s. (TV: The Lie of the Land)
Footnotes
- ↑ The map in The Lie of the Land shows Bermondsey as being just east, but across the River Thames, from the City of London. When viewed in conjunction with the map of London boroughs seen in Revenge of the Slitheen, this would definitively place Bermondsey in London Borough of Southwark.
