Ike was the owner of the shop in 2503 which the Eighth Doctor and Charlotte Pollard browsed to find a book which they thought would help them find a cure for Ramsay.

He was also part of the crew of the Vanguard. His next mission aboard was to investigate the star destroyer that his late friends Thinnes and Digly had found. When the killers of Thinnes and Digly attacked his fellow crew member Kelsey, he defended the accusations that the Doctor and Charley attacked him, as they weren't covered in enough blood.
