A book reading was an event where people would go to get hear a book being read by its author author.
It was at one book reading/signing in London, where Iris Wildthyme reunited with her companion, Tom who had become the author of a series of books about him and Iris. (AUDIO: Wildthyme at Large)
Every year on Halloween, Paul Magrs, Jeremy, and Panda travel to the same bookshop in Whitby to do a reading of his Brenda and Effie series of stories. Paul then signed copies of the books. (PROSE: The Story of Fester Cat)
