Ellen Thomas played a Clockwork Droid in the Doctor Who television story The Girl in the Fireplace, and later Carmen in the Doctor Who story Planet of the Dead.
Thomas also played a Clockwork Droid live at Doctor Who: A Celebration in 2006, credited as "Elen Thomas".
She is best known for her roles as the principal in the teen series Coming of Age and as Claudette Hubbard in EastEnders.
