Paul Vanezis is a key member of the Doctor Who Restoration Team and a person actively involved in the search for missing episodes. He notably was directly involved in the recovery of "A Land of Fear", "Guests of Madame Guillotine" and "A Change of Identity".

Vanezis also acted as both producer and director on the 2|entertain documentary, A New Body at Last, and both produced and directed the minisode Global Conspiracy?, an exclusive story released on the DVD release of The Green Death.

He was also responsible for video effects and editing in the Reeltime Pictures home video story Shakedown: Return of the Sontarans. He also directed the home video Ian Chesterton: An Introduction.
