Solin Tiermann is the son of Amanda and Ernest Tiermann. His father is a scentist from Earth and is famous for creating the servo-furnishings. His only home was Tiermann's World, because he was born on the flight there. His mother, Amanda, is a cyborg and when she died Solin is very upset because he was very close to his mother. In the adventure, he is the only one of the Tiermann's to survive, and the Doctor took him to Spaceport Antelope Slash Nitelite with the last servo-furnishing, Babera the pop machine.
