Dawn French (Born October 11, 1957 ) was a woman to whom Haresh Chandra was attracted. He would intentionally cook excess food in the hopes that his wife would eat more, suggesting that French was a woman of stout build. (TV: The Day of the Clown)
Behind the scenes
French played Silurian 1 in The Silurian Disruption, a sketch which appeared on her show. She also wrote the script for that sketch.
She was suggested by Sydney Newman for a possible candidate for the Doctor's seventh incarnation.
French is one half of the comedy duo French and Saunders, alongside Jennifer Saunders.
She was previously married to Lenny Henry from 1984 until 2010.
